Andrew Fox – Head of Group

Andy was one of the Co-founders of our Parent Company – The Hinton Group in 1999. He has seen the business grow over the past decades into a market leading brokerage helping 1,000’s of clients in over 100 countries. Still wanting to maintain that client service, he works mostly for the mybestbuysavings arm of the organisation dealing directly with our future and existing clients, marketing our panel of high interest savings.
Andy’s interests are motor racing, socialising, constant dieting and taking care of our Head of Client Resources Tilly (who he is married to!!)

 

David Traill – Head of Global Sales THG Capital

Originally from Northern Ireland, David has been in the offshore financial services industry for 30 years. After leaving Her Majesty’s Forces he has worked for Sun Alliance International, Guinness Flight Asset Management and Investec Asset Management in varying parts of the world. Having lived in Ireland, Spain and Cyprus he is now based in Cape Town, South Africa.

 

Linda Howard – Company Accountant

Linda has been an Accountant owning her own business for over 20 years and has been The Hinton Group exclusive accountant since 1999, working in our UK Head Office. In her own words “there’s not a lot more to add to that!”.
Linda’s personal interest are photography, travel, her home and social life and wine tasting.

 

Timothy Lock – Head of Asia Operations

A seasoned veteran with over 30 years’ experience in the global financial services sector. Tim has lived, worked and travelled extensively throughout the world giving him a complete international outlook to business. Now living in Thailand, Tim covers our operations in Asia and is a qualified member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and a qualified Affiliate of STEP (Society of Trusts and Estate Planning). Tim’s specialties include investment and savings planning for private investors and institutions.

 

Paul Renar – Head of European Operations

Paul has been assisting expats globally since 2012 and brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and attention to all of his clients. He has worked in the past for DeVere and joined The Hinton Group in 2015 working for the Pensions Department. Upon Hintons selling this part of the business to Alliance, Paul transferred over to Alliance for 4 years. He has now switched back to Hintons and joined the mybestbuysavings team.
Paul is a devoted family man and takes full advantage of the local activities whilst living the dream in the heart of Europe.

 

Tilly Ferreira – Head of Client Resources

Tilly started in Financial Services as a Trustee apprentice in 1999 with Meeres Pearson. After progressing to Treasury and Payments she moved to Moore Stephens to advance her career as Trust and Company Administrator. In 2005 she was head-hunted by Credit Suisse in Guernsey where she rose to the role of Trust and Company Account Manager. In 2011 she took a career break to scratch the itch of being a property developer and bought, renovated and sold property until after 3 properties and 2 years, returned to the world of finance and in 2013 joined The Hinton Group. After starting in customer liaison she has progressed up through the ranks and now runs the team at Head Office and also oversees the corporate relations we have in place.

Tilly’s personal interests are socialising with friends and family, managing her property portfolio, sewing and holidays.

 

Rosie Mills – Head Office Manager

Rosie has enjoyed a varied career in administration, accounting, stationery and ancillary computer sales, health care assistant in a hospital, and working for a Magistrates Court for 12 years with the last few of them years running the Magistrates’ court sitting arrangements, she found her niche working with Hintons. Starting work with Hintons back in June 2009 and never looking back she has enjoyed watching the company grow from strength to strength. During all the working years Rosie never really left school either by continuing to study at evening classes everything from ballroom dancing to PAYE. She joined the Open University and in 2015 graduated with an honours degree in open science with included amongst other exams computer programming and maths (BSc Open Science Honours degree), also gaining a diploma in maths on the way.

Rosie’s personal interests are learning / studying; animals; history; and photography; and is a member of the Weald and Downland Museum plus the Arundel Wetlands and Wildfowl Trust.
